MEET MARIA

Meet Maria! Maria is our the fabulous woman behind the manufacturing of our garments. With over 30 years of experience as a seamstress in the Montreal garment industry, she is highly skilled and passionate about creating quality apparel with the perfect fit that you will keep in your wardrobe for years to come. She is always coming up with innovative ways to alter garments to improve and elevate the designs and we couldn't be more grateful!

Maria came to work with us after she semi-retired and was looking to find an exciting way to spend her time. Her other passions include cooking (you wish you could taste her dishes), spending time with her family (and especially grand-daughters) and strengthening her faith. 

Maria is paid fairly for all of the work she does with us. Compensation meets and exceeds all Canadian labour laws, and in fact, Maria is the one who determines the labour cost per garment on each of our designs. We work together to create manufacturing processes which are fair and sustainable throughout the cycle - including made-to-order designs, producing in small batches and testing products before stocking up on inventory.
